Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet (2007)

Un tremendo disco de Porcupine Tree, como casi todos a su haber. Ese oscuro contenido, esas melodías desgarradoras (ya sea por lo bellas o brutales que sean), esa energía que lo lleva a uno tenso durante algunas canciones, esas guitarras pesadas calmadas con la suave voz de Steven Wilson, todo eso y más es el árbol del puercoespín.
Y bueno, en este también participan Alex Lifeson de Rush y Robert Fripp de King Crimson.

John Zorn - Naked City (1990)

Si bien, no me he adentrado mucho en la música de Zorn, su música me atrae bastante. Supongo que este es el disco más "escuchable", comparado con muchas de las canciones del Grand Guignol por ejemplo. El otro día estaba viendo denuevo la película Funny Games de Michel Haneke (que NO le recomiendo a nadie que sea muy sensible). La película parte con un tema de Zorn, y ya da para imaginar qué ocurre en la película... nada bonito en todo caso. Y bueno, basta con ver la portada de este disco, no creen?
